Crosby Nathan Bowen

2015 ~ 2018

Crosby Nathan Bowen returned suddenly and peacefully to his Heavenly Father on July 5, 2018 due to complications from a previously undetected brain tumor.

Born in Houston, TX on August 29, 2015 to Nathan and Allison Bowen, Crosby was a lifelong Texan with deep Utah roots. He was born a happy kid and continued to spread happiness all throughout his short life with his beautiful smile and contagious laugh. He truly brought pure joy with him to this earth. He looked up to his big brother, Dalton, in every way, and they loved playing (and fighting) together. Crosby also loved being a big brother these past 10 months to his "silly Tessa girl" and was slowly learning how to be soft with her.

Crosby had the best facial expressions and was always making his whole family laugh. He loved everything about life, including playing with cars and trucks, playing Star Wars or superheroes with his daddy and big brother, playing in the rain and digging in the mud. He could often be found running up and down the driveway with his beloved dump truck, or hauling dirt around in it. He lit up when his daddy came home from work and always gave his mommy the best snuggles. Crosby's big, beautiful eyes will be sorely missed.

Crosby is survived by his parents, Nate and Allison Bowen and siblings Dalton and Tessa Bowen, of Houston, TX; grandparents Kelly and Shelley Hannig of Saratoga Springs, UT; and Brent and Ann Bowen of Holladay, UT; great-grandparents Glade and Laurelle Dalton of Silver Reef, UT; Verden and Joyce Hannig of St. George, UT, and Mary Bowen of Salt Lake City, UT; as well as several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Texas Children's Hospital, whose staff did their absolute best to make a difficult situation as positive as possible. Sincere gratitude also goes to The Financial Advisory Group and HayesTough Foundation for their generosity in helping to ease our burden. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to either Texas Children's Hospital (waystogive.texaschildrens.org) or the HayesTough foundation (hayestough.org).
