Beloved Wife, Mother, Grand-mother and Great-Grandmother passed at home after a short illness the evening of Sept. 10, 2017.
Elaine was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Feb. 9, 1939, to William and Leah Simpson. She met the love of her life Ronald Clark, March 18, 1958 and they were married June 27th, 1959. Together they raised 7 brats that turned out to be good caring adults.
She enjoyed having her family around her for any reason but she enjoyed it most when the family could get together in daughter Penny and son in law Travis' backyard for a celebration of her and Dad's anniversary.
Some of her hobbies included watching tv with her eyes closed, a talent the rest of us have yet to master. Also, she really loved decorating the Christmas tree and making the dogs howl while singing Christmas carols.
Elaine's true happiness though was her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
Her greatest loss was that of her son Terry on May 27th, 2017.
Elaine was also preceded in death by her parents William and Leah Simpson, sister Fern, Parents in law William and Ruth Clark, Son's in Law Tony Steadman, Wes Egbert, and Grandson Adam Daly.
Survivors include Husband Ron, Daughter Lynda Steadman, Son Kelly (Jeanine) Clark, Daughter Rhonda (John) Voitl, Daughter Kim Egbert, Daughter Pam (Mike) Daly, Daughter Penny (Travis) Willson. 11 gradchildren, Jim Steadman, Kira Strong, Russ Steadman, Melissa Cluff, Jeremy Mounteer, Steven Mounteer, Crystal Lovendahl, Allen Clark, Dan Lambourne, Ronald (RJ) Clark and Tiffanie Reeves and their spouses, and 20 great-grandchildren.
As per her request a private family service will be held at Larkin Mortuary, Thursday Sept. 14 at 2pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Sept. 23 in Penny's backyard. Time to be determined.
