Our beloved mother, sister and grandmother, Kathleen Russell Trujillo passed away on May 26, 2017 with an angel by her side. She was born on April 29, 1955 in Pasco Washington to Boyd and Ramona Russell.
Kathleen was a manager at Iceburg Drive Inn for 15 years. She then returned to school and became a CNA. She enjoyed working as a CNA because she loved taking care of people. One of Kathleen's favorite things to do was taking her kids and grandkids to the zoo to see the tigers. Kathleen loved tigers. She also enjoyed visiting the aquarium. Kathleen was the type of person that would do anything for anyone. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. We love you so much. Until we see you again.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Russell. She is survived by her brother John Russell and her sisters, Sharon Toler, Mariann Dunn, Aimee Rudd and their families. She is also survived by her children John (Lindsay) McAllister V, Angela (Doug) Christensen, Russell McAllister and Christopher (Jordann) McAllister, 12 grandchildren and all the many children that joyfully called her grandma.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. Friends and family may call at a visitation that same day from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Canyon Rim Ward, 1050 Galena Drive, Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to America First Credit Union under the name of Kathleen Trujillo.
