Lois M. Taylor

Lois Mae Martin Taylor, 94, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family onSeptember 14, 2013, from causes incident to age.Lois was born January 1, 1919, in Salina, Utah, to Edmond Fenn and May Evelyn Evans Martin.She married Clifford Phariss Taylor on March 2, 1940, in Richfield, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Lois and Clifford raised their family in Bountiful, Utah, and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1985.Lois was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.She loved sharing in their accomplishments and experiences.Lois had a delightful smile and sense of humor and she appreciated the small simple things in life.She will be dearly missed.Also preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Redd.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law Susan and Robert Lynn Thomson of West Jordan, Utah; son and daughter-in-law Clifford Bryce and Diana Taylor of Washington, Utah; granddaughter RaeAnn Taylor serving in the Moscow Russia Mission, grandson Clifford Bryce ("C.J.") Taylor Jr. serving in the Belgium Netherlands Mission, Shane William Taylor serving in the Accra Ghana Mission, and Andrew James Taylor.A special thank you to Zions Way Hospice and especially to Eli and Heather for their tender loving care, and to all of Lois' neighbors, friends and ward members who served her.She loved and appreciated all of you.

Memorial service will be heldTuesday, September 17, 2013, at11:00 a.m.at the Washington Fields 10thWard Chapel, located at 628 South 3000 East, St. George, Utah; followed by brief graveside service onWednesday, September 18, 2013, at11:00 a.m.at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois' honor to the Missionary Fund or the Perpetual Education Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
