Barbara Jean Bartlett McCune, 85, passed away peacefully in her home on June 15, 2016. Barbara was born on November 8, 1930 to Melvin and Gladys Bartlett, the younger of two children. She lived her entire life in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Barbara had a dynamic personality. She loved planning and preparing gatherings for her family and friends. Barbara was a generous person, she treated her children and their families to a European cruise when she retired from Utah Metal Works. Her dogs were also among the luckiest, they were family as well.
Barbara married William Alfred McCune and together they had six children; Sharron (James) Dunford, Renae (Michael) DeLaBarcena, Paula Humphrey, Stacy (Ramona) McCune, Tammi (Red) Powell and Jeffrey McCune. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; William, her son; Jeffrey and her sister Joy Shannon.
The McCune family wishes to thank and acknowledge the help of John Latteier and his family during her final year.
Viewing will be Monday, June 20, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Larkin Mortuary 260 East South Temple. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at11am at Wasatch Lawn 3401 South Highland Drive.
