Steven Alan Nelson passed away at home on November 24, 2016 in West Jordan, Utah at the age of 63.
He was born on April 11, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jesse and Esther Nelson
Steve was happiest while fishing and building things out in his garage. His truck and his lawn were always in pristine condition, which shows the pride and love he put into every single thing he did in his life.
He was survived by his only daughter Taylor Kay Nelson, who brought her own sense of humor and light into his life. They had a special relationship full of love and silly inside jokes shared only between the two of them.
He was also survived by his sister Ellen Cowan (Scott) and his brothers Scott Nelson, Bill Nelson and Ken Nelson (Linda).
He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Esther (Johnson) Nelson.
Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E. dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy, Utah
