Her early years were spent in Kilby Court, a bustling mini-neighborhood which is no more with schooling at Grant Elementary, Lincoln Middle, and West High. Early work experience was for Manuel Torres at Manuel's Fine Foods, later for Ramon Cardenas at Casa Grande cafe. Moving into retail followed at Gibson's both in Salt Lake and Ogden, then came eight years' service with Litton Data Systems followed by a couple years with Mountain Bell, five years intermittent service at Salt Lake Hardware, a couple years with Salt Lake County Sheriff's Dept, time with Ryder Trucking, then finally retiring at Utah State Tax Commission after nine years.

Maintained an active lifestyle, walking and running until forced to quit due to the ravages of dementia which ultimately took her precious life. In the confines of Hospice at Silverado, despite the best efforts of the dedicated caregivers working there, cruel dementia won. A beautiful life, a beloved person, gone but remembered forever by those whose lives she touched.
