Ronald Lee Davis, Sr., 88, passed away on March 1, 2018 at Parklane in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born and educated in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from high school at the age of 17, he enlisted in the Navy where he spent 5 years. He married Margaret Flemister in 1954 and there they began what they coined, "Life together has been an adventure."

Working his way up from a service man with the Wurlizer Piano Co., he became Vice President in the 1970's. He joined Steinway Piano Co. in New York City, and it was this time that he went back to school and graduated from Marymount College in Terrytown, NY, Summa Cum Laude. Changing careers and locations in the 1980's, he worked for Merrillat Ind. in Adrian, MI.

As a devoted Latter Day Saint, Ronald was called as the Bishop of the Adrian Ward, Ann Arbor, MI Stake. Retiring in 1991, he and his wife went on a mission to Mississippi giving away clothes and food. Upon returning, he was called as Bishop of the 4th Ward, Liberty Stake, Salt Lake City, Utah.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, 5 children: Margaret (David) Silk, Ronald (Kristin) Davis Jr., Nancy (Clarke) Farrer, Anne (Jesus) Lopez and Laura (Douglas) Oldham. 19 Grandchildren and so far, 18 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 10:00 am at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City Utah, 84111. A viewing will be held Tuesday from the hours of 6:00 ‚ 8:00 pm also at Larkin Mortuary. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Primary Childrens Hospital or the LDS Humanitarian Fund.
