Kathleen Lucy Van Wye

1938 ~ 2018

Kathleen of Lehi, Utah passed away at our homeon Saturday, January 20, 2018.

She was born on December 31, 1938 to Julian and Bernice Tait in Los Angeles, California.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Brandi A Williams and her husband Alan D Williams; grandson Travis A Williams and his wife Whitney Williams, granddaughter Aubree Ann Ninow and her husband Ryan Ninow, grandson Connor Gordon Williams and his wife Kirsten Williams, and granddaughter Makinsee K.D. Evans and her husband Jeremiah Evans; great grandchildren Brodey, Jack Beaudin and Ivory; along with her two sisters Julie Maule of San Bruno, California and Merrie Mozingo of Preston, Idaho.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Kermit Gordon Van Wye (March 1989); her son Mitchell Burtell Van Wye (September 2010); parents Bernice and Julian Tait; and her brother Burt Tait.

Kathleen was truly loved and adored by all that knew her. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved temple hopping with her sisters and she adored her family. She lived for her Savior and for her family, nothing was more important to her than those two things.

She served as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the North Chicago Mission. It was one of her most favored accomplishments that she truly appreciated.

I invite all who would like to celebrate her life to please join us for services which will be heldon Saturdaymorning, January 27that 12:00 noon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Chapel at 2198 WestFoxtail Drive, Lehi, Utah 84043. A viewing will begin at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) Sandy, Utah.
