Fred Albert Cleveland, age 77, died Monday June 24, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah at 5:15 am.
He was born on December 10, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Heber Kimball Cleveland and Marie Beth Barlow.
He served 4 years in the US Navy on the USS Lenawee. He was the owner of Al's Volvo Service Shop for over 50 Years and the business has thrived since he opened the door. Fred had a great love for horses - he was the "Genuine Cowboy". He was a commemorative/reenactment rider in the Pony Express of SLC.
He was our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Fred was an amazing husband to his beautiful wife Delana. Together they have enjoyed of 55 years of marriage. He is the father of 6 children Rick Lee, Cort Albert, Alana Dee, Burk Lee, Chase Kimball, and Marie Grace. He is also the proud Grandpa of 41 grandkids and 30 great grandkids. A special mention of Christie Sipress who spent several years at his side.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Riverview 9th Ward, 11420 South 700 West. A viewing will be Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and on Friday morning from 10:00 ‚ 10:45 am prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
