Donna Beverly Allen Lloyd,84, passed away on May 28, 2017 at her home, in Sandy, Utah. She was born on May 12, 1933 in Cedar Valley Utah to Benjamin and Elizabeth Snow Allen. Donna grew up in Draper, Utah on a working chicken farm. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, Darwin, on October 10, 1951. They have been inseparable for 65 years. In 1970, they moved to a farm outside of Rupert Idaho. In 1980, they moved to Sandy, Utah.
She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in numerous callings.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn (son), Christopher and Joshua Hartley (step grandsons). Donna is survived by her companion, Darwin, her children, Daryl (Jayne), Brian (Trisha), Marriann Steffensen (divorced), daughter-in-law, Dena (Ross). Also, her sisters, Verlene, Joyce, Beth and brother Roger.
Donna has 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Park Ward LDS Chapel, 9800 South 2300 East, Sandy, UT. There will be a viewing on Friday, June 2nd, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd (10600 South), Sandy, UT; also Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Park Ward LDS chapel. Burial will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens.
