Arlan Osmond Headman, born January 28, 1926 in Murray, Utah, to Selina and Everett Headman, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.
He married Ione Ficklin and together they had 3 children, Shelia Headman, who passed away March 12, 1966, Arlan O Headman Jr (Bud) (wife Sharon), Tanya Sargent (husband Scott), three grandchildren, Nichole Ramos (husband Nick), Alex Headman (wife Kristin), and Samantha Avery (husband Tim), and two great grandchildren, Jackson Ramos and Cameron Avery.
Art was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he was a High Priest and held numerous church positions. He was a general contractor and owned his own business, AO Headman Construction Company.
Some of his hobbies included bowling, fishing, boating, and traveling.
He proudly served our country in World War 2 and the Korean War.
He was a great husband and loving father and grandfather.
Art is survived by his wife, Ione, children Bud and Tanya, and their families, and sister, Colleen Rafferty. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter.
Funeral services for Art will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 So.), where his family will receive guests from 12:45 p.m. 1:45 p.m. prior to the services.
