Lois Maurine (Mansfield) Oviatt was born in 1943 and passed away February 21, 2016. Maurine was born in Heber, Utah to Venna (Morrill) and Woodrow Wilson Mansfield. She was sealed to her sweetheart Bob Oviatt in 1961.
Maurine is survived by her husband Bob, children Jeff (Ina), Angie Oviatt, Amber (Chance) Luke and Amanda Oviatt, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, brothers Randy (Susan), Kim (Vicki) and several nieces and nephews.
Maurine is preceded in death by her parents, half-brother Ernest, brother Leland and great-granddaughter Jocelyn. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings in the Church, and was affectionately known in the ward as "The Card lady."
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Riverside 1st Ward on 1148 West 500 North, Salt Lake City, UT 84116, with a viewing from 10:00 am to 11:30 am prior to the funeral. Special thanks to Midas Creek nurses and staff, Dr. Stephen Wood, Arianne and Madison for all the years of care, and Becki, Heather, Debi, etc. from Solstice Hospice. We would also like to thank Debbie for always making mom's hair look so beautiful, and all family and friends for the support you've given us.
