HERRIMAN, UT ‚ Sandra Lyn Goates Freeman, 67, of Herriman Utah passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 23rd 2017.
She was born April 23, 1950 in Gunnison, Utah. She married Vernon Freeman in Salt Lake City, UT. May 27, 1972. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS temple July 12, 1986.
She was very active in the LDS church and served faithfully in various callings throughout her life. Her life was full of love and quiet selfless service which touched the hearts of countless people, especially children.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon and 3 sons: Blake (Rachel), Randy (Lindsay), Keven (Amy). 3 daughters: Nicole Boothe (Greg), Jacklyn Spotten (Shaun), and Jenette Jolly (Craig) 16 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Michael (Susan), Brent (LeAnn) and 2 sisters: Rene Rogerson (Jim) and Diana Goates.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Max and Burness Goates and her grandson, Seth Freeman.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary on Monday, August 28th from 6:00-8:00 pm 3688 W. 12600 S., Riverton, UT, and Tuesday at the Church 9:30-10:45 a.m.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 am at the Rose Canyon LDS Stake Center 7079 Rose Canyon Road, Herriman, UT. Interment will follow the funeral at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) Sandy, UT.
