Our best friend, father, grandfather and great grandfather returned to his Heavenly Father on September 26, 2016. David was married to his sweetheart almost 50 years. David was an active member of the LDS Church where he served many callings. He was an avid square dancer twirling his partner for 25 years. His passion was being a member of the Murray Concert Band where he would play his clarinet for some great tunes, but most of all he loved doing things with his family. He served our country in the Army National Guard.
David is survived by his wife Sandra, children Jeff (Joy), Syndee (Brandon), Julie (Claudio) and Casey (Amber), 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, siblings Karen (Joe), Lawrence (Ann Marie) and Lyman (Vicki). Preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Elizabeth Banks Petersen Kranwinkle and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on October 3, 2016 at the Murray Stake Center, 160 East 4600 South. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 10:30 ‚ 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
