Beloved father, son and brother passed away at his home on September 3, 2019 at the age of 55. He graduated from Alta High School, earned his associate degree from Dixie College, St. George, Utah, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. Richard served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hong Kong. He was self-employed, doing business as Freestyle Reconditioning.
Richard was an artist, a writer, and a musician He enjoyed working with his hands, spending many hours in his yard and doing home improvements.
He was anxious and willing to be helpful to those around him. He will be very much missed by family and friends.
He is survived by son Dylan Moore (Mckenzi), grandchildren, Lance, Trista and Ryker, and his mother, Julia Moore. Also survived by siblings Laura Koester (Wade), Kristy Crosland (Michael), Paula Thrall (Mark), Amy Christensen (Dan), Marci Gripp (Corey), John Moore (Christina), Sara Stumm (Robert), Cami Thornock, Katy Grant, and Devin Moore (Shea), and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death: by his father, Walter James Moore, Jr.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 21. 2019 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT.
