Mom's greatest gift was giving to those that needed an extra hand. 20+ individuals made a stay at our 8 children home; Mom always made room for that needy person. We will miss you, Mom, but remember the pleasant, gentle, firm memories we all share.
Angela "Angie" Torres Barela is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin T. Barela. She is survived by 3 children: Merlin Barela, Mae Barela, and Kaye (Doug) Price; also by many adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary (1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT). Visitations among family and friends will be held Sunday, May 6, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
