Mike passed away on July 28th, 2017 to be reunited with his loving wife Barbara.
He was born on April 24th, 1926 to Giuseppe Pietramala and Francesca Marrelli Pietramala. He was married to the love of his life, Barbara Lane Sutherland for 67 years.
Mike was the official Mayor of Pinnocchio Drive and knew someone everywhere he went. He was a terrazzo mechanic and tilesetter by trade. He enjoyed fishing, wood-working, being outdoors and most importantly his family. He was the biggest joker around could always be heard whistling his own tune.
He was proceeded in death his wife, parents and siblings; Mary, Jim, Margaret, and Esther. He is survived by his 4 children; Mike (Margaret), Christine (Harry), Susan (Lorin), Jim (Kerri Jo), sister Edie (Chuck), 9 grandchildren, and many great and great great grandkids. We love you Gramps!
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4th at 11am at the Rose Park 1st Ward 760 North 1200 West. Viewings will be held on Thursday, August 3rd from 6-8pm at Larkin Mortuary 260 E South Temple and on Friday from 9:45-10:45am at the church. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
