Our sweet mother passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2014 in Layton, Ut. She was born on Sept. 27, 1953 in Salt Lake City to Don and Sherry Brewer. She married John Rubens in the Salt Lake Temple in 1971. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her grandchildren and children. She was an active member of the LDS Church with a strong testimony of Jesus Christ.
Survived by her husband John, children; Elisa (Russel) Peterson, Valerie (Mike) Doucette, Heather Rubens, Jennifer (Shane) Sheldon, Darrin (Shelly) Rubens and Scott (Ronna) Rubens; 24 Grandchildren and her mother, Sherry; sisters, Debbie (Kelly) Park, Pat (Lary) Ravenberg, and brother Mike (Stacie) Brewer.
Funeral services Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at 11am in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, Ut. with viewings Mon. 6-8pm and Tuesday prior from 9:30-10:45am with interment to follow. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com
