Theo was born February 15, 2019 at home into his loving parents' arms. Three short weeks later he was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a very rare congenital heart disease where he spent eight weeks overcoming insurmountable obstacles through medicine, surgery and recovery. He was able to return home with only a feeding tube which was removed within a few weeks.
Theo spent the next several months surpassing all expectations as a healthy, developing infant. Some of his favorite past times included playing with his mobile, hanging out with mama in his baby carrier, being rocked, spending time with his big brother, relaxing with his papa, sneaking peaks at TV screens, kicking his ball, spending time outside with family, and smiling at others wherever he went.
Theo was able to spend some of his last few days in the mountains, his favorite place, surrounded by family and friends. While there, and for an unknown reason, he quickly declined and was rushed to the hospital. Four days later, even with all the testing and treatments doctors could supply, Theo decided to spend his last moments of life being held by his mama and papa before reuniting with his Father in Heaven on August 21, 2019. He decided that this sacred day should be shared with his big brother on his birthday.
He will be remembered by his father Jordan, mother Mckenzie, brother Porter, and countless others he has touched in his short but powerful days on this earth. He will be missed deeply but knowing we will reunite with him someday is the greatest blessing of all! We love you baby Theo!
