Our beloved father and grandfather, Keith Darryl Mayne passed away peacefully of natural causes. He was born in Bingham Canyon in 1928 to Rachel Ann Brimhall and Dewey B. Mayne.
He served our country in the United States Coast Guard for 3 years and then started his life- long career as a Shovel Engineer at Kennecott Copper Mine. He loved the outdoors, but more than anything, he loved his family dearly!
Survivors include his children: Steve Mayne, Dianne Mayne, Valerie Plant (Craig), Lynda Wilson (Keith) and Karolyn Michelsen. Keith had 11 grandsons,1 granddaughter and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis and son Brian.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held from 10:00 ‚ 10:45 prior to the services. Interment with military honors will follow.
