Samuel E. Cherry 91, passed away July 21, 2016 in Holladay, Utah. He was born in Reyno, Arkansas to James Ray Cherry and Annie Mae White on June 2, 1925.
Sam was a veteran of World War II and Korea where he served as an army medic. He married his soul-mate, Rachel Kern, in 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. They moved to Denver where they had their only child, Kathleen in 1953. Sam was systems manager for Remington Rand and later for Western Office Systems for many years.
Sam was a very hard-working, kind, loving soul who always wanted to help his family, friends and co-workers.
Sam is survived by his daughter, Kathy and her husband Don; grandsons, Eric and Alex; brother, Thomas Marvin as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
