She came to this country in the late 1940's and within 2 weeks began working for St. Patrick's Church in Waterbury, Connecticut where she took care of the resident priests, housekeeping and scheduling.

Margaret worked for many years at Sherwood Medical in Waterbury, Connecticut as a quality control inspector. When not at work, mom loved to train and compete in ballroom dancing. Her other great passions were knitting, sewing, ceramics, floral arrangements, gardening and duck pin bowling. Mom was also a 35-year member of Bally Total Fitness in Connecticut, continuing her exercise routine when she moved to Utah. Her family was her whole world and she loved to host picnics and holiday dinners never forgetting a birthday or anniversary.

In 2005, mom and dad moved to South Jordan and joined St. John The Baptist Church in Draper Utah, never missing a weekly mass. She was always known as the "best dressed lady" at church. She also maintained membership as a "Silver Slipper" at the South Jordan Recreation Fitness Center until recently.
