Albert Eugene Brems

1938 ~ 2020

Albert Eugene Brems, age 81, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2020. He was born December 23, 1938, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Albert and Gladys Brems. He was a proud veteran who served during the Korean war. Dad was one of a kind! He always had a witty joke, a contagious laugh, and a smile that could brighten your day. Albert was an amazing Dad, Gramps, and friend. He would give you his last dollar or anything else he had if you needed it. He had a special way of loving you and always showed it. Some of his favorite things were trips to Wendover, puzzles, books, spending time with his family, giving gifts, shopping around thrift stores with his good friend Leo, having dinner with lifelong friends Donald and Gwyn, visits and calls from his nephews Jim, John and Joe, helping others, and phone conversations with his friend Ron. He was grateful for the last year he was able to spend with a special lady, Bonnie. We will all miss him terribly.

Albert is survived by 2 daughters, Lori Bell and Jolene Nash (Terry); 5 Grandchildren, Danica, Aaron (Tiana), Zac (Ronilynn), Miranda, and Kylie; 9 Great-Grandchildren, AJ, Taylor, Delilah, Maizee, Presley, Oakley, Jaxson, Braxton, and Kinslilynn. He was preceded in death by his true love Shirlene, his mother and father, and his siblings Norm, Wanda, Lanora, and Jim.

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only we could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will too. The fact that you're no longer here will always cause us pain, but you're forever in our heart until we meet again.

A special writing from Terry, who dad adored, and considered his son.

Al, Dad, Grandpa

The man we miss so very much. The great keeper of things and stuff. Although he is gone away for now. We will meet again within the clouds. He was a great man that I looked up to so very much. The great keeper of things and stuff. Love you!

A private celebration of life will be held.
