Margaret Rachel Coleman

2010 ~ 2013

Our beautiful, sweet, princess Maggie returned to her Heavenly home and to the embrace of her big brother Jonas. She was a perfect little girl, who came to this earth to fill a void in her parents hearts after the loss of Jonas and she waited till her little sister's arrival last week to fill our hearts again. Maggie had Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type I, but by the way she lived her life, Spinal Muscular Atrophy did not have her.

From the day she was born Maggie did things the way she wanted, she was a bright spot in this life, with a personality too big for her fragile little body. Although Maggie could be a little stinker, without a doubt she was our smiley, happy, and adventurous little girl. Despite her weakness, Maggie loved to experience everything she could. Maggie traveled to Hawaii, Disney World, countless trips to Disneyland, Lake Powell, Newport Beach, and St. George. She loved to move her body, by wiggling in the tub, shrugging her shoulder, swinging, swimming, twirling, dancing with her Daddy, "walking" in her stander, riding in her wagon, going on rides at Disneyland; like the Tea Cups, sitting on her Mommy's lap playing with any toy she could hold. Maggie had a profound love for music that always brought her joy. She always found a way to interact through "talking" and body language that made others smile. Not only did she make others smile, she made herself smile. Our beautiful Margaret Rachel brought such a joy with her to this earth. Like a hummingbird Maggie flittered into our lives, always keeping us on our toes, trying to keep up with the wonderful surprises she brought, and like a hummingbird she flew out of our lives in a flash. Her surprises, her life, brought us greater joy than anything we could have planned. Sweetheart, we love you so much…Toot! Toot!
