August John Paoli was born in Mala, Italy and came to the U.S. while still an infant. He grew up within a close Italian community in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High, served in the Navy during WWII and on his return attended Weber College. He always maintained a connection to his extended family back in Italy and later in life he and Bebe would often visit his many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Trentino, Milan, and Pisa. Augie was a very generous and loyal man, he will be missed by all of his friends and family. A special thanks to Rudy and Letitia of Harmony Home health for all their help during his illiness.
Survived by daughter Michele (David), sons Brian, Michael, and Bruce, grandchildren Hillary, Bailey, Kelton, and Jakob. Preceded in death by his wife Bebe Doreen and son Duane Francesco.
The family will meet with friends on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City.
