Olivia Leigh Lovell was born November 11, 2002 to Wes and Jill Lovell and big sister Sophie. She passed away peacefully August 1, 2015.
At the age of three, she was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidoses IIIA, a very rare genetic disorder. She continued to live a full life and particularly loved to sing and laugh with family and friends. She developed a mischievous side and became a masterful pick-pocket.
Later in life, as the disease progressed, she could no longer talk, walk or eat on her own. But still she remained the life of the party, always creating laughter for herself and everyone else.
We would like to thank the amazing group of doctors and nurses, teachers, aides and caregivers, plus friends and family that made Olivia's life a life of happiness. A special thank you to Dr. Shellie Ring as well as our Angel's Hands Family for their love and support.
She is missed and loved by her best friend and big sister, Sophie, who always put Livie's needs above her own. Along with Sophie she is loved by grandparents Dave and Peggy Lovell, Gary and Vicki Margetts, grandma Susan Taylor, great aunt Libby Lovell, Greg and Becky Pierce and Dave and Melissa Burrows. Olivia found great joy in the company of her cousins Jack Pierce, Emma Pierce, Ethan Burrows and Andrew Burrows. She loved her extended family beyond measure.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the graveside services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
