Virginia (Ginny) passed away November 29, 2014. Virginia was born in Hingham, Massachusetts on May
I, 1937 the only child of Herbert J. Davis and Frances L. Davis. She married Sharon (Sherm) Hale Holgate
in 1971. Virginia graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and later graduated from Cornell
Nursing School in New York City, and the University of Utah graduate program in Nursing
Administration. Thereafter, Virginia devoted her life, both professionally and personally, to caring for
and giving to others with a radiance of kindness and compassion. Virginia is survived by lifelong friends,
step children and many relatives in Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5 at
1:00 pm at Larkin Funeral Home 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. Visitation 15 minutes prior
to service. A funeral service will also be held in Hingham, Massachusetts, arrangements are pending.
