Lucille Long Bianchi

1921 ~ 2013

Lucille Long was born December 4, 1921 in Osgood, Missouri to Joseph and Marie Phipps Long. After moving to Bingham Canyon, Utah, Lucille met the love of her life, Hugo Bianchi. They were married on December 17, 1945. Together with love they raised five children.

Those who were lucky enough to know "Granny B" knew how amazing she was.

She raised 4 siblings after both parents died young. She worked many jobs outside of the home. She was a very talented seamstress, and was known for her amazing cooking skills. Lucille lived and loved her faith. She was a devout Catholic, and spent many hours at St. Therese Church. She loved her SWORDS friends, and enjoyed her time in the Women's Guild. However, she was best known for her love. Her kindness and selflessness touched everyone she knew, and she will be missed and remembered for generations to come.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband Hugo; siblings Louise, Jodelene, Barbara, granddaughter Kelly Bianchi and great grandson Christopher Schneider. She is survived by daughters Connie Fike, Karen Nash (Barry) and Chris Hamilton (Dave); and sons Norman (Beth) and Dennis (Laura). Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great children. Each of these held a piece of her heart, and she made each one feel special.

The family would like to thank Vickie and Jonie Ingraham and Summit Health Hospice for their tender care. A very special thank you to her grandson, Rhett Hamilton, who helped her fulfill her wish to die at home.
