LaReta Mellor Manwill returned to her Heavenly Father on May 8th, 2018. She was born February 13th, 1934 in Fayette, Utah (Sanpete County) to Norval Mellor and Leah Wintch Mellor. She married Charles Christian Manwill in the Manti Temple on July 6th, 1956. Together they had three children, Jodie (Roger), Rick (Dawn), Diana (Kirk). She had 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles, granddaughter, April, brother, Leland, sisters, Donna and Lucille. Survived by brother, Sheldon.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many ward and stake callings. She's always had a strong testimony of the Lord, Jesus Christ. She loved her home, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed gardening, playing and listening to music. Her most cherished memories were trips all over the country and camping with her family. She went on many trips with her dear friend and neighbor, Tiny. Her family was her most precious possession.
LaReta\s funeral service will be held Monday, May 14th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be located at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bluffdale, Utah.
