Louise Ruth Gerhardt Lawrence, 83, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2019 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 30, 1936 to Lorenz Garhardt and Bessie O'Donnell.
Louise married Tony Gene Lawrence on September 11, 1957 in Elko, Nevada. Together they had 3 children; Debbie, Chris and Fred.
She had a deep Love of the Lord. She was also passionate in caring for all the children she worked with in daycare for over 40 years. Her tenderness and strength will always be remembered.
Louise is survived by her husband, Tony; her daughters, Chris and Debbie and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lorraine, and her son Fred.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Sonrise Baptist Church, 3550 South 4400 West, West Valley City, Utah. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
