Olga Q Humble

1928 ~ 2014

Olga Humble, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on August 30, 2014. She was born on January 30, 1928 in Montevideo, Uruguay. She immigrated to the United States, with her daughter as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she remained a devout member her entire life, serving in many callings. Olga worked in the accounting department of ZCMI for 20 years where she was never late or missed a day of work. She was a master seamstress, cook and home maker. She enjoyed sharing her beautiful crocheting, knitting and needlework with those around her.

She is survived by her four grandchildren; Toshiro (Jennifer) Shino, Tomoji (Liza) Shino, Takashi (Kelli) Shino and Mineko (Joshua) Ferrier-Watson; 6 great-grandchildren, two stepsons, Lynn (Anne) and Forrest (Jo) Humble, and loving friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and her daughter, Susanna.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 11:00 am in the Butler 18th Ward, 6634 South Greenfield Way (1910 E.), where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
