Faye Elliott Trimble

1949 ~ 2016

On March 9, 2016 Faye Elliott Trimble surprised us all by finally losing a battle to a sudden illness. Born October 19, 1949 a day ahead of her future husband in Price, Utah to Richard and Doris Elliott. She had survived numerous surgeries, a near-death bout of Sepsis, chronic osteoarthritis, and assorted other ailments with her sense of humor intact and her will to live strong, so we were all shocked when she didn\t triumph once more. She will always be remembered for her great beauty, loving heart, loyalty and her joy in being a bit of a rebel.

Those who knew Faye, remember she loved Diet Coke, talking on the phone, traveling the world, reading, quilting, dressing well and her dogs, but most of all being a Mom to her 5 kids and a Grandmother to her 21 Grandchildren. At that she won her Gold Medal!! She met her husband of 45 years, while she was roller skating at a Sunday School party and thought it would be funny to send the cute kid to the floor by tripping him from behind. Despite that rocky beginning, they remained Sweethearts for 50 years.

She loved growing up in rural Riverton with her friend Stevie and her sister Carol and brother Kelly. She attended Riverton Elementary, West Jordan Junior High, and the old Bingham High School in Copperton and always cherished the friendships she made there. She was devoted to her parents and spent countless hours caring for them as they aged. She raised her family while living in Glenmoor Village in South Jordan and spent the last 20 years of her life in Hidden Oaks in Sandy.

She will be greatly missed especially by her grandchildren who loved sleeping over at \"Grandma\s House\" and going shopping with her and the credit card. We all love you Faye!!

She is survived by her husband David; children, Lisa Nokes (Travis), Kris Nielson (Brian), Emily Cushing (Travis), Traci Romph (Justin), Jeff (Amy) and sister, Carol Milne(Lee), and brother Kelly Elliott (Dawn).

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. March 17, at the Hidden Oaks Chapel located at 11755 South 2100 East (Highland Drive) Sandy, Utah 84092, preceded by a viewing from 9:00 until 10:30. Her burial will follow at Larkin Gardens in Sandy. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, March 16 at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, Utah 84092 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
