Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on May 22nd, 2018 of multiple health issues. She was born December 27th, 1930 in Tremonton, UT to Annie Gertrude Holladay and Alton J. Mathews.
She married Bruce Haven Anderson on August 4th, 1948. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in May 1950.
JoAnn enjoyed organizing Sub for Santa projects with her ward. She was a gifted artist in both oils and water colors. She loved nature and the mountains especially Jackson Hole. She loved spending time with her husband at Laguna Beach, family gatherings, and parties.
Survived by her daughters Jan (Brian) Anderson, Pam (Ray) Fenlon; eight grandchildren; 21 and Ω great-grandchildren; and extended family. Preceded in death by her husband; parents and siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30th at 2:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Friends may greet the family at a viewing from 12:30 to 1:45 PM. Interment to follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City.
Family would like to thank her caregivers at home, hospice and The Wentworth for their loving and tender care. Also, thanks to Fawn, Barbara, Parker, Elizabeth and Kitt for their friendship and love.
