Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Kenneth R. Chapman, passed away surrounded by family members on August 3, 2014.Kenneth was born November 13, 1940, in Salt Lake City Utah to Leroy J. Chapman and Vilate Savage Chapman. He married his loving and devoted wife Rebecca Louise Asper Chapman on November 20, 1967. He was preceded in death by daughter Rebecca Chapman Newbold. He leaves behind wife-Rebecca Louise, son-in-law G. Michael Newbold, son-Robert W. Chapman, son-Kenneth Lloyd (Clover) Chapman, daughter-Susan Chapman, son-Richard L. (Rosalie) Chapman, daughter-Kalin A. Chapman (Daniel) Davidson, son-Alma J. Chapman, son-Matthew V (Holly) Chapman, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Kenneth was a hard working veteran who loved fishing as a hobby. He loved telling stories, laughing and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He will be greatly missed. Viewing for friends and family will be Friday August 8th from 10:00am until 11:00am at Larkin Mortuary Funeral Home 260 E. South Temple Salt Lake City. A private family funeral will follow immediately after Kenneth will be laid to rest at the Salt Lake Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Mountain America Credit Union in Kenneth R. Chapman\s name.
