Broennimann, Rudolf, born March 14, 1929, native of Switzerland, resident of Zion\s Summit, Salt Lake City Utah, son of the late Johan Rudolf Broennimann and the late Ellse Broennimann, passed away on February 18th, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.
Rudolf leaves behind his loving wife Virginia, daughter Leslie (Lorne) of Dryden, son Peter of Trent River, daughter Suzanne (Michael) of Collingwood, grandsons Dustin, Matthew, Ryan, Gregory, granddaughters Shannon, Rhiannon.
As an avid life long skier, still at the age of 84, he truly reached the peak. Rudolf brought zest to all the things he did in life. He passed his love of the great outdoors and the enjoyment of wild foods to his children. He was Spiritually connected and ready to pass on.
Viewing will be at The Capitol Hill First Ward Chapel, 413 North West Capitol Street on Tuesday February 25th from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The service will follow. After the service he will be laid to rest in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
