Marian Copier Mallory

1950 ~ 2019

Marian Copier Mallory—Devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2019, surrounded by her adoring family. She fought a valiant fight against cancer for many years. She was an amazingly strong woman who rarely complained and wanted to continue to fight as long as she could.

Marian was born on January 8, 1950 to Floris and Eva Copier. She married her sweetheart, Michael Mallory, on February 16, 1973 in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised five beautiful children together.

She enjoyed every minute she spent on vacations and get togethers with her family. She adored playtime with her three beautiful grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life. She was an avid reader, a talented seamstress, and loved to cook meals for her family. She was the consummate homemaker. She loved animals, especially her four grand puppies.

Marian loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and was very close to Him. She cherished her time studying the gospel. Her scriptures were always by her side. She served in many callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the years, and enjoyed being able to be with the youth when her children were part of the Young Men\s and Young Women\s programs.

Marian will be missed but never forgotten.

Marian is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Lisa DeKarver (Eric), Jared Mallory (Jaclyn), Trisha Mallory, Trent Mallory (Anne), and Brandon Mallory; grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, and June Mallory; her mother, Eva Copier; six brothers and two sisters; and many extended family members.
