Russell Henry Cluff, 97, of St. George, UT formerly of Taylorsville, UT, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2015.
Russell was born in Victor, ID on September 3, 1917 to John Robert Cluff and Myrtle Jones. He graduated from Victor High School and attended University of Idaho.
Russell married Lillian Edna Beattie on October 5, 1939 in the Logan Temple, she passed away February 8, 1986. Married Aartje Naylor on March 5, 1988, sealed in the Jordan River Temple on May 15, 1999.
He worked as a cheesemaker and retired from Dan's Food as a meat cutter. Russell enjoyed fishing, traveling, dancing, playing his harmonica and spending time with family and friends. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings.
Russell is survived by his Wife Aartje, Daughter Beverly (Jack) Cluff, Son John (Jone) Cluff, John Naylor, Ken (Sandy) Naylor, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and Sister Norma Cluff Guyon.
Preceded in death by Wife Edna Beattie Cluff, Parents John and Myrtle Cluff, Brother John Verl Cluff, Sisters Veda Cluff Thompson and Bernice Cluff Linville Crandall.
Viewing will be on May 21, 2015 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and May 22, 1:45pm to 2:45pm. Funeral services May 22, 2015 at 3:00pm. Funeral and viewings at Meadowbrook 2nd Ward, 1250 W Atherton Dr. (4375 S) Taylorsville, UT.
Interment May 23, 2015 11:00am at Burton, ID Cemetery.
