Vera was born on February 8, 1934. She passed away peacefully at her home in South Jordan, Utah on Friday April 20, 2018 at 12:45 p.m. from pancreatic cancer. Mom was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She LOVED to travel and was still enjoying working part time at Cruise andTravel Masters travel agency. She worked many years for State Farm Insurance. She also enjoyed studying Astrology.
Mom is survived by her three daughters Rhonda Lee (Broc Crookston), Joni Zenger and Lisa (Scott) Rasmussen, 2 grandchildren Kevin Trenton (Kelly) Zenger, Jamie (Andy)Thomas and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Roy and Florence Keen Smith. She was married to Ronald Willis Sanford for over 60 years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
