1924 ~ 2015

Elda Mae Milner, 91 years old and a Salt Lake City Resident, diedon October 7, 2015 from natural causes.

She met her husband Bob in her dreams before they ever met in person. After only one date Bob proposed to her by mail then drove from UT to AZ in hopes she would accept.Itwas a true love story that lasted 69 years in this life, and, without a doubt, will continue in the next.

Elda enjoyed cooking, entertaining and making sure her family was well fed at all times. No one ever went without a delicious and beautiful meal while visiting their home. Eldaloves nature. She and Bob enjoyed many full summers of camping in Spanish Fork Canyon, making many friends with other campers and many forest animals. Elda was well known for her well honed craft of making delicious jams and jellies. She would often say, \"Give me wild choke cherries and I\ll give you the best jelly you\ve ever had.\"She was the most reliable person, and everyone could count on her to come through in spades. Ifanyone in the family needed help, was hurt or needed a kind ear, you called Grandma Elda and she would havean immediate solution that would solve the problem.

Her and Bob\s greatest accomplishment was their beautiful and smart daughter Peggy, who married the handsome man, Easton.Elda dearly loved her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren that became her family legacy. Elda gave a dedicated andfull career to the Sears Roebuck and Company, and the many company discounts that followed. Elda loved dogs, Taco was her baby, given to her at 85 years old. And,when she heard that Taco\s Mom was also available for adoption, she didn\t even hesitate and Mitzi joined their family a week later.

Elda is survived by the most loving and loyal husband a woman could ask for, Bob Milner, her daughter Peggy, 4 grand children, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 4 grand dogs.
