Jonathan Timothy (J.T.) Fowles was born May 17, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Richard S. and Karin Kapp Fowles and passed away October 19, 2017. J.T. was born with a bigger-than-life personality and drew people to him. He had a great sense of humor and loved joking with those around him. J.T. loved playing with and entertaining younger cousins. He always rooted for the underdog and had a smile or hug for those in need. He was the lead in many school plays and was a member of the ball room dance team, which he performed with on a cruise ship. He was a gifted musician playing multiple instruments, but had a deep love for the guitar. He enjoyed playing in bands and jamming with his brother, Scott and with his friends. He was a talented artist winning various art competitions and selling some of his pieces. He loved to skateboard and spend time with friends at the skatepark.
J.T. is survived by his mother, Karin; brother, Scott; sister, Jennica Marriott (Nick), Grandmother, Joanne Kapp, Grandfather and Grandmother, Richard M. and Shirley Fowles and his sweetheart, Alex Cutler.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard S. Fowles; and Grandfather, Harold Kapp.
Funeral services will be held at the Eastridge 8th Ward building located at 1020 E. Sunburn Lane, Sandy, Utah, on Friday, October 27, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service. The interment will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the LDS Humanitarian Fund, or the LDS Missionary Fund.
