Ronald Corey Latham passed away early Friday morning, Dec. 6, 2013, after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. He was born Aug. 12, 1958 in Salt Lake City to Ronald George Latham and Hope Howlett Latham, she preceded him in death. He was married to Vickie Sharon Steiner for 30 years.
Corey was an avid outdoorsman. He especially loved Utah because of all the activities and beauty it has to offer. He could often be found in the back country hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He worked for Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office and Unified Police Department for 25 years. He served others through his knowledge of Utah's canyons and valleys.
He is survived by his wife; father; 2 sons, Cody J and Kurt Latham; and daughter, Carlee.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at the Copperhill 9th Ward, 6710 West 4145 South. There will be a visitation Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 So), and at the Ward Thursday 9:30 to 10:45 am prior to services.
