Our hearts are saddened with the loss of Robby Arthur Aston, who passed away on October 18th, 2017 from complications following surgery. He was born on May 19th, 1956 to Oliver Mitchell "Bud" and Lois LaRae Aston in Kearns, UT. He married the love of his life Janet Pugh on November 18th, 1977. Together they had the privilege and honor to raise two beautiful children Eric Oliver Aston and Miranda Dawn Aston.
Robby was a loving husband, father, son, brother and true friend to many. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Robby was a successful business owner, who loved to fix things and was known as the "tinkerer". He was a very compassionate person with a tough exterior and a big heart.
Most of all Rob and his brothers learned the joy of the hunting and the outdoors at an early age from their Dad. He was able to travel to many states and countries, where he filled not only our lives, but also our basement with memories. He will be missed by many and in our hearts forever.
Survived by his loving wife Janet; daughter Miranda (Tim Proesch) Aston; grandchildren Hayden, Kamryn, Siegmund; mother Lois; sisters Lona (Bill) Bess, Sheryl Madill; and brothers Kyle (Monica) Aston, Patrick (Debi) Aston. Preceded in death by son Eric Oliver; father Bud; and brother Ronald Madill.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 11:00 AM, with a viewing one hour prior to services all at the LDS Church, located at 10115 South Yorkshire Drive, South Jordan. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy.
