Sharon Anne (Sheri) Grice passed away on November 5, 2018 in Draper, UT with her mother and father at her side. Sheri was born on May 15, 1966 at Fort Ord in Monterey, CA to Barbara Grice and John Grice.
Sheri loved living in California until she moved to Utah at the age of 13. At age 5 she was diagnosed with leukemia and was cured later at age 18. Sheri was an accomplished artist, earning a diploma in graphic arts in 1987. She worked as a nanny for many wonderful families until she suffered effects from radiation treatments. Sheri then lived at home and was cared for by family and wonderful friends and ward members. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sheri was considered an angel to all of those who knew her.
Sheri is survived by her mother, Barbara Grice; father, John (Bernie) Grice; most importantly her sister, Cindy (Joe) Grimmett; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins who all loved her very much.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dave and Lib Grice, Richard and Elvira Molitor; uncle Joe and aunt Becky Grice; cousins, Kelli Chapman, Julietta Marie-Allen, David and Annie Rakos.
The family extends many thanks to Heartwood Home Health and Hospice, Touching Hearts Home Care, Elevation Hospice, and Assisted Living of Draper for the tender care they all gave to Sheri.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT) on Saturday, November 10 at 12:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at the same location starting at 1:00 pm.
