Norma Burnham Anderson

1926 ~ 2017

Norma Burnham Anderson, 90, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at her home. She was born September 12, 1926 in Blanding, Utah to Wallace Alvin Burnham and Emma Marietta Rogers. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Clothing and Textiles, which took her to New York City, where she worked in the Empire State Building for DuPont, and where she met her husband Moyle. They were married in the Manti Temple on October 24, 1964. Norma served in the Stake Relief Society, and as Relief Society President. She was known for her quick wit, fantastic cooking, and her skill as a professional editor and proofreader.

Norma was preceded in death by four sisters, Lucia Burnham, Edith Burnham, Ruth Taylor, Bertha Larimore, and two brothers, Stuart Alvin Burnham, and Owen Wallace Burnham. She is survived by her brother Lewis Burnham (Gail), her sister Evelyn Cox (Doug), and her daughter Kathryn Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Capitol Hill Ward, 413 N. West Capitol Street, with a viewing at 9:30 a.m. at the church. She will be buried beside her husband in Ephraim, Utah.
