Fakhretaj \"Fafar\" Mesdaghi Noshiravan

1924 ~ 2014

Fakhretaj (Fafar) Noshiravan passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2014, joining her beloved husband, Dr. Amir Hooshang Noshiravan. They were married in 1950 and together enjoyed an active life, traveling the world and sharing adventures. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1980. Fafar was an artist in preparing Persian cuisines and enjoyed sharing this talent with friends, family and even strangers. Fafar was full of love, joy, and happiness. She danced through life.

Recently, Fafar has been residing at the Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center, where the loving staff danced with her as well. We give our sincere appreciation for the tremendous love and care she received from all of them during her stay. Her family is also forever grateful to friends and family, near and far, for their many visits, calls and kind gestures.

Survived by her daughters, Nooshin (Hashem) Towliati, and Niloofar (Hassan) Bakhti; son Amir Farhang (Joyce Oka); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Elaheh (Hassan) Alaie; and brother-in-law Arastoo Eghtesadi. Preceded in death by her loving husband Amir Hooshang, wonderful son Amir Homayoon, and beautiful sister Malak Eghtesadi.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8th, 2014, at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
