Margaret L. Heinrich

1930 ~ 2015

Our dear mother and wife passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2015 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Denver, CO on Aug. 9, 1930 to Lewis and Margery Leake. She lived her life in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High. She married Emmett Heinrich on Nov. 4, 1960.

She worked as an educator for the Utah School For the Deaf for 14 years. She had the opportunity to travel throughout the world with her husband. Her hobbies included reading, painting and crafting.

Margaret's greatest legacy is her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her lifelong friends. Her home was always a gathering place for friends and family due to her loving and accepting nature.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Emmett; 5 children, Larry (Lisa) Rauzon, Terrie (Kathy) Rauzon, Keith (Janice) Rauzon, Douglas (Susan) Heinrich and Ronald (Lisa) Heinrich;11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; Also by a brother, David (Elizabeth) Wilson. Preceded in death by a grandchild, 3 brothers, her parents and her step-father.

Memorial services will be held Wed., April 1, 2015 at 11am in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd., (10600 S.), Sandy, UT with viewings Tuesday from 6-8pm and Wed. one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow the service.
