Linda Lee Geertsen passed peacefully from this earth at her home in Salt Lake City with loving family by her side. She was born to Joseph E. and Eloise Geertsen in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marilyn Erickson and brothers Paul Geertsen and James Geertsen. She is survived by her brother Robert (Linda Ann) Geertsen and sister Joan Wood and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She lovingly cared for her parents and many family members and was always in the service of others. She worked for Farm Bureau and sold insurance for AARP. She was a long time member of the DUP. She loved doing genealogy and family history research. The most important thing in her life was her family and the gospel of Jesus Christ and her testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith. She was a faithful Latter-day Saint and will be missed by all who loved her.
Her last words were of gratitude and love to all the many family, friends and care givers. Thank you so much for all your support.
Funeral services will be held at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton at 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton, Utah on Saturday March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing on Friday from 6 ‚ 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 ‚ 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Burial at Valley View Memorial Park.
