Darlene Jane Crosby

1969 ~ 2020

Darlene Jane Crosby, age 50, was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on April 3, 1969. Darlene passed away peacefully at home in her husband, Steve's arms on January 8th. Family was everything to Darlene. She has two wonderful sons who were the light of her life. Darlene was so proud of both Ryan and Hunter and all of their accomplishments. She was thrilled that Kenzie will be joining her family and was looking forward to their wedding. Now she will have the best view in the house from above. She will undoubtedly be watching over all of them and gracing their hearts with her warm smile and loving arms.

She was a graduate of Hollis area High School, class of 1987 and also the University of New England in Bedford Maine, 1991.

Darlene made such a positive impact on her family and this community as a whole with her work as a Physical Therapist at Intermountain Healthcare and especially with her extended "soccer family". She was always so supportive of not only her children, but of each and

every child she encountered through soccer. She was the quintessential soccer mom and was loved by so many.

Steve was the love of her life. The two of them shared such a deep love and admiration of each other that was truly admirable. They made countless memories and a beautiful family together, her legacy will carry on through all of them.

Darlene was surrounded by so much love throughout her life. She had wonderfully supportive parents in Jane and Richard Nichols. She was so fortunate to not only have the support of her parents, but also the love and support of Steve's parents, Eldene and Rick Crosby who she admired and loved greatly. Her brother Gary was always there for her and loved her more than words can express. She found tremendous strength from Gary, his wife Shannon and their beautiful daughter and her niece Madison. She was deeply saddened that she was unable to travel to her nephew, Gary's son Cody's wedding to Amanda, but loved them both dearly.

Not many people are blessed with lifelong friendship, but Darlene truly was. Jen Ryder, Barbara Bollinger and Dana Gorton all grew up together. Over nearly 5 decades they experienced, love, companionship, college, fun times, watching her fall in love with Steve and now loss.

Our dearest Darlene, heaven gained a beautiful angel yesterday ~ fly high, we love you.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Steve Crosby, her children, Hunter, Ryan and his fiancé Kenzie; her parents, Richard and Jane Nichols; brother, Gary Nichols, his wife Shannon, her niece, Madison and nephew Cody and his wife Amanda; and Steve's parents Rick and Eldene Crosby, Steve's sister Laurie Dohm her son and Darlene's nephew Parker.
