Mom passed away on April 23, 2016 in Murray, Utah at the age of 85. She was born on February 5, 1931 in Cortez, Colorado to Ezekiel Salazar and Eloise Archuleta. Jacqueline was a CNA. She loved to make tamales, go camping, shopping for clothes and dancing. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She became a member of the LDS church in 2007.
Survived by her children; Gloria Pineda, Robert Martinez, JoAnn Alvarado, Mark Martinez, Michael Martinez, Christine Tabera, Kelly Martinez, Alex Jasso and Benito Jay Jasso, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Rosie Alvarado and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Rogelio Fuentes, daughter Maxine Martinez, sisters Angie Blair and Jean Martinez and brother Albert Salazar.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) in Sandy. Visitations will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. both at the mortuary.
My deepest sympathies for your loss. I was looking her up to try to talk to her and I came across this obituary. I have many found memories of Aunt Jackie.
